How does your school handle bullying?
At PECS, we take bullying very seriously. Our approach is proactive, consistent, and rooted in creating a safe and respectful school environment. Staff are trained to recognize and address bullying behaviors promptly, and students are encouraged to speak up—whether they’re experiencing or witnessing bullying.
We use a restorative approach whenever possible, helping students understand the impact of their actions and work toward resolution. Families are notified and involved in the process, and consequences are aligned with our student code of conduct. Most importantly, we work to build a school culture where kindness, accountability, and inclusion are the norm.
